For the second week of our five-week series about Water Renewal Projects, we are exploring the Study phase.
Before a single pipe is replaced, we start with research and assessment. That’s what the Study phase is all about: evaluating system conditions and designing smart solutions. Two major projects are currently in the Study phase:
- Asbestos Cement (AC) Water Lines Condition-Based Assessment – Identifying aging asbestos cement lines for replacement with modern materials that offer longer life and improved performance.
- Wastewater Conveyance Optimization – Exploring the feasibility of consolidating lift stations and rerouting wastewater via new gravity mains for efficiency and long-term savings.
These studies help us build a smarter, more sustainable water future, starting with informed decisions.
Thanks for joining us for Week #2 of this series. We will visit you again soon for Week #3!
